Hero IT Support provides Unlimited Business IT Support to this care company and project manages IT infrastructure and systems in all new home setups.

The Challenges

Our customer in the Care industry partnered with us when they were beginning to expand. However, they didn’t have the technical expertise from an in-house IT team, therefore, they were unsure how to optimise their infrastructure and IT systems. They needed us to take full control of this.

The Solution

By providing this customer with Unlimited Business IT Support, we were able to perform an Audit, enabling us to remove the ‘barriers’ preventing productivity. We also were able to implement new technology and systems to ensure they could grow, and excel that growth. We project manage the growth of each individual care home they run, ensuring both staff and residents are happy.

Results

Supporting Testimonial

“We have unlimited IT support with Hero IT Support, which is just like having our own in-house IT team. As well as everyday technical support with everything from forgotten passwords to new users, they also see to the important, regulatory stuff.

Hero IT Support recommended that we move to fibre broadband from ADSL and took care of the switchover for us. They also reworked all of our networks and connections and they manage the networking and firewalls throughout our care homes and head office. They understand that internet downtime can be highly unsettling for our residents who are used to a certain routine, and as such they manage any upgrades/downtime with sensitivity and plenty of communication and notice. Antivirus protection is critical to us to protect our internal systems and Hero IT Support take full control.

Personal data security is paramount to us. We manage the personal records, care plans, health records and finances of residents and we work hard to protect and safeguard this data in line with CQC guidelines. We have absolute trust in Hero IT Support to keep our data safe, encrypted and backed up (both now and with the new GDPR regulations coming into effect).

We have a large workforce who all require access to varying levels of data. Hero IT Support manage the file/folder access, restrictions and privileges for us.

The best bit about Hero IT Support is that we don’t have to even think about backups, broadband speed, antivirus or things going wrong (because they don’t tend to). Hero IT Support use behind-the-scenes monitoring to upgrade systems and alert them to issues before they happen, so they are sorted before we even have to pick up the phone.

We have expanded rapidly in the last three years, particularly in our acquisition of residential homes. With each new home Hero IT Support takes full control of the IT systems set up, both working remotely to set up all users and systems and assisting on-site to ensure smooth roll out.” Beverley Winchester
