Cavendish Care was founded in 1998 with a view to providing the best care available for young adults with learning disabilities.

Cavendish Care runs sixteen care homes in the South of England in which tenants are encouraged to live as independently as they can, alongside 24/7 staff care and support.

Hero IT Support provides unlimited IT Support to Cavendish Care and project manages IT infrastructure and systems in all new home setups.

Hero IT Support recommended that we move to fibre broadband from ADSL and took care of the switchover for us. They also reworked all of our networks and connections and they manage the networking and firewalls throughout our care homes and head office.  They understand that internet downtime can be highly unsettling for our residents who are used to a certain routine, and as such they manage any upgrades/downtime with sensitivity and plenty of communication and notice.  Antivirus protection is critical to us to protect our internal systems and Hero IT Support take full control.

Personal data security is paramount to us. We manage the personal records, care plans, health records and finances of residents and we work hard to protect and safeguard this data in line with CQC guidelines. We have absolute trust in Hero IT Support to keep our data safe, encrypted and backed up (both now and with the new GDPR regulations coming into effect).

We have a large workforce who all require access to varying levels of data. Hero IT Support manage the file/folder access, restrictions and privileges for us.
